At the end of the day, I’m a woman who wants to have a baby, or two or three. This isn’t what defines me, but it does take up a lot of space in my head and heart at the moment, and that’s what this blog is about, this journey that has turned out to be a lot more unpredictable and tricky than I had thought or imagined that it would be. To read more about our fertility journey, follow this link: Beginnings (an overview)
I am a 32 year old woman, married to an incredible and loving man. I love Jesus, and would at this point, be an absolute wreck without Him. I love being creative – singing, playing guitar, sewing, knitting, crocheting and recently, gardening. I love exercise – running, walking, BBGing and being outdoors, exploring.
I love people, love journeying with others in community and find that burdens shared are so much easier to bear. I live in Cape Town, South Africa and think it is amazing here! However, there seems to be very little support for those going through infertility here, so this is my first step at trying to make a difference in that. To that end, if you live in Cape Town and would like to journey together or chat or eat cake or cry or all of the above, drop me an email on the Contact page.
You are not alone.
